There is nothing more enjoyable than hiring your own SUP and quietly paddle boarding along at your own pace on one of the Gold Coasts most most picture-perfect waterways in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
We are a local family and look forward to being able to share with you the opportunity to enjoy paddle boarding in our quiet, little-known, beautiful piece of paradise!

If you have already tried paddle boarding before you can just hire a paddle board and go at your own pace on your own adventure, or if it’s your first time you have never tried it before then a good option is to do a 15minute introductory lesson as well as the board hire.

15min introductory lesson with hire (recommended for first time hirers)	$10 per person.
Board Hire Per Hour	$20 per person
For Each Additional Hour	$10 per person

Opening Times from 9am to sunset 7 days per week.

Meeting Point

The meeting point for your paddle board hire will be at our villa opposite the amenities block in the park at 2/25 River Drive, Surfers Paradise. Between the café “Bumbles” and Norfolk Avenue. You will see a SUP In Paradise sign on the grey wall out the front. Just press the villa buzzer above the letterbox when you arrive.

Budds Beach in Surfers Paradise is ideal for paddle boarding as it is protected from prevailing winds. A short paddle away is Macintosh Island which has a vast array of birdlife and if you’re lucky you might even see a pod of dolphins cruising past. If you can time your hire for late afternoon you will also be treated to uninterrupted views of the stunning sunsets. So come and have a SUP In Paradise!

Rules for Stand Up Paddle Board Hire

Make sure you have honestly explained your ability and any medical conditions you may have to the instructor at the start of the hire session.

The 15 minute introductory lesson is compulsory if you are coming paddle boarding for the first time.

Always wear the leash that is provided.

Z

Refer to the Map provided for paddling boundaries and entry and exit point.

Always take mobile phone in a water proof case in case of an emergency…..please request from instructor at the start of the hire if you require one.

Always paddle with a buddy and stay within 50 metres of each other at all times.

Z

Make sure you are confident of your own ability in the conditions on the day.

Make sure you understand all safety and emergency response procedures before beginning your hire session.
